Kimberly Prendez was born and raised in Los Angeles. She comes from a family actors, writers, painters and musicians.  Kimberlys’ mother was an Actress before getting married and deciding to stay home and raise her children.  Kimmy, as the family called her showed her first signs of  wanting to be on stage at the tender age of 3 by getting on the brick platform of the fireplace singing into the handle of a jump rope, demanding the attention of everyone! At Christmas time her and her older brother would put on shows for the family in costume and all. She was always a quiet child, reserved would best describe her, but when it was time to perform all of that went away. Her father would always call her the thinker “ Kims in deep thought again” he would say.

As a teenager Kimberly started taking acting classes at school and at the local community colleges. She also entered her first beauty pageant at the age of 14, I think her father was reluctant about allowing her to do it but he did, and she came home with the trophy for first place. Kimberly began studying her favorite actresses in old movies that her Father introduced to her, Marilyn Monroe, Vivian Leigh, Ingrid Bergman to name a few. Being the quiet soul she is it allowed her to take it all in and realize this is what she wants to do ….be in the movies, and as her famous quote says “I want to affect my audience”.

Kimberly did not always have such an easy life and has had her share of life’s struggles, like a lot of us especially those teen years. But while those struggles may have seemed so difficult at the time it has helped her become the giving actress she is today. And that part of her that is still reserved allows her to listen and really hear thus affect her audience.

Ms. Prendez has always been involved in the arts, and now her life long love of acting is developing into a very promising career. Just in the last two years she has starred in a dozen films. Most recently Ms.Prendez has been offered the Lead role in a Feature Film that had started out as the 14 min.short "Valerie and Sid".Kimberly is preparing for this challenging role by studying with Dialect/Acting coach Larry Moss.

We are excited to introduce Kimberly Prendez, a beautiful and talented actress who has seen recent success in "Hollywood." Kimberly has always been involved in the arts and now her life long love of acting is developing into a very promising career. In the last two years she has worked in a dozen films, including short film, "Valerie & Sid" in which she played the lead. The film was so well received at its screenings in 2006 that writer/director Angelo Bell is developing it into a feature film. Production of the film, now entitled, "Valerie Guerrero: Fierce Warrior" starts in June 2007.

Acting is in her blood. Prior to getting married to an LAPD officer, Kimberly's mother also was an actress. At the age of three, Kimberly was already showing signs that she was destined to be the center of attention. She would transform the brick platform of her parent's fireplace into a stage, dance and sing into the handle of a jump rope and demand the attention of everyone! Normally Kimberly was a quiet and kind of shy child but when it was time to perform all of that went away. As a teenager Kimberly took acting classes at school and at the local community colleges. She also entered her first beauty pageant at the age of 14, where she won a first place trophy. Drawing inspiration from icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Vivian Leigh and Ingrid Bergman, and having studied with Steve Eastin, Greg Mortensen and Kim Ogle, Kimberly is one up-and-comer who knows exactly what she wants: “I want to affect my audience.”

Kimberly's credits include leading roles roles for "Waves," "Women of Manhattan," "Mae West: Her Life," "DMV Tyrant," and has co-starred in "Lost In Hollywood," "3 Paces To The Closet Door," "On A Dark Cold Night," "Citizens Arrest." She has also been featured in "Sweetzer," "Love Is For Democrats," "I Know Who Shot You," "The Honor Student," "The Majestic," and "Women VS. Men. " Her television credits include, "Nip/Tuck," "No Justice (Lead)" and "If There's A Will."

Presently, Kimberly is studying with dialect and acting coach Larry Moss and being actively trained in the martial arts, kick-boxing and weaponry for her lead role in "Valerie Guerrero."
